Kirsy Segarra of Westfield State and Tyra Scott of Salem State have been named the MASCAC Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week.

Kirsy Segarra Segarra averaged 21 points, five steals, 2.5 assists and two rebounds while shooting 57 percent from the floor (16-28) in a 2-0 week for the Owls. Scored 18 points with four steals and three assists in the 97-77 win over Worcester State. Netted 24 points on 75 percent (9-12) shooting from the field with six steals, two assists and two rebounds in only 15 minutes of play in the win over Fitchburg State. |

Scott averaged a double-double of 12 points and 13.5 rebounds while shooting 58 percent (11-20) from the field in a 1-1 week for the Vikings. Led the team with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the 72-61 win over Rivier University and 10 points and 17 rebounds in the 60-41 setback to Framingham State. |
