Framingham State's Rackliffe, Fitchburg State's Rose Earn ECAC/NEWBA Honors
The duo of Alycia Rackliffe of Framingham State and Kyra Rose of Fitchburg State earned Eastern College Athletic Conference and New England Women's Basketball Association Player and Rookie of the Week accolades.

The duo of Alycia Rackliffe of Framingham State and Kyra Rose of Fitchburg State earned Eastern College Athletic Conference and New England Women's Basketball Association Player and Rookie of the Week accolades.
Rackliffe was named the ECAC DIII New England Player of the Week while Rose earned the Rookie of the Week honors. The duo also took home the same honors for the NEWBA weekly awards. Earlier this week, they were named the MASCAC Player and Rookie of the Week as well.
Rackliffe averaged 24 points, 13 rebounds, two steals, 1.5 assists and 1.5 blocks while shooting 75% (21-28) from the floor in a 2-0 week for the Rams. She scored 24 points with 10 boards, two steals and an assist while shooting 85% (11-13) from the floor in a 99-44 win over Fitchburg State. Alycia also scored 24 points with 16 rebounds and three blocks in a 95-59 win over Salem State.
Rose earns her fourth ECAC Division III NE weekly honor of the year after averaging 20.7 points, nine caroms, three assists, 2.7 steals and 1.7 blocks per game in three contests for Fitchburg State. The first-year guard posted a double-double of 36 points and 13 boards as well as five assist, three steals and two blocks in a 94-89 overtime win against Dean College on Monday before adding nine points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal in a loss to Framingham State on Wednesday.
Kyra wrapped up the week notching a double-double of 17 points and ten boards to go along with two assists, four steals and three blocks in a setback to Westfield State on Saturday.
