The Worcester State duo of Katie Hurynowicz and Lena Waldron take home the MASCAC Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week after they each had a double-double in a league game last week.

Hurynowicz netted a double-double of 32 points and 16 rebounds along with three assists, a steal and a block while shooting 60 percent from the field (9-15) and 81 percent (13-16) from the free throw line in the Lancers’ 78-74 win over Salem State in her lone game of the week. |

Rookie of the Week |

Waldron averaged 10.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and four assists in a 1-1 week for the Lancers. Finished with seven points, five rebounds and five assists in the 78-74 win over Salem State. Added a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds along with three assists and a steal in the setback to Framingham State. |
