Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
Kiara Abrantes, Bridgewater State
Senior, Somerset, Mass.

Abrantes set the school record and captured top honors in the 400-meter dash this past weekend at the Tufts Sunshine Classic. Posted a time of 55.70 seconds as she eclipsed the Bears’ previous outdoor mark of 55.76 seconds. Currently ranks 13th in all of Division III in the 400 and second in the East Region. Also tied for sixth in the East Region in the 100.

Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Serenity Sands, Bridgewater State
Senior, E. Bridgewater, Mass.

Sands captured the meet title in the high jump with a leap of 1.66m this past weekend at the Tufts Sunshine Classic. This week’s effort is tied for the 11th best in Division III with her sitting with the fourth highest mark from earlier this season.

Women's Outdoor Rookie of the Week
Grace Inacio, Bridgewater State
Freshman, Taunton, Mass.

Inacio won the meet title in the 100-meter dash with a finals and PR time of 12.27 seconds this past weekend at the Tufts Sunshine Classic. Currently tied for sixth in the East Region in the 100.
