Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Naomi Cass, Bridgewater State
Senior, Westport, Mass.

Cass placed eighth in the mile with a personal-best time of 5:16.69 this past weekend at the MIT Gordon Kelly Invitational. Currently ranks fifth in the East Region in the mile.

Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Elize Lee, Westfield State
Junior, Walpole, Mass

Lee placed first in the triple jump with a top mark of 11.44 meters and finished first in the long jump with a best leap of 5.57 meters at the Massasoit Classic on Saturday. Both improved her qualifying marks for the All New England meet later this winter, and her long jump has her placed 19th on the national indoor list, and her triple jump mark is 11th on the national performance list.

Rookie of the Week
Olivia Downin, Bridgewater State
Sophomore, Hudson, Mass.

Downin finished 13th in the 800-meter run with a season-best time of 2:33.23 this past weekend at the MIT Gordon Kelly Invitational. Also finished 59th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 30.36 seconds (first time competing in the event).
