Framingham State Chosen to Win Volleyball Conference Championship
The Framingham State Rams are the pre-season pick to win the 2013 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball championship in a vote of the league’s coaches.
Westfield, Mass.— The Framingham State Rams are the pre-season pick to win the 2013 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball championship in a vote of the league’s coaches.
Netting five first place votes, Framingham State finished with 47 points in this year’s poll. Bridgewater State, which received two first place votes, and Westfield State each had 39 points to share second place.
Worcester State is next in fourth place with 26 points, while MCLA and Salem State each collected 19 points to share fifth place in the rankings. Massachusetts Maritime rounds out this year’s poll in seventh place with seven points.
Starting their season the last weekend of August, four of the conference's teams hit the court to start the 2013 campaign.
