Charleyne Panner and Cassidy Tyros of Bridgewater State have earned the MASCAC Volleyball Player and Rookie of the Week awards after leading their team to a 3-2 record, including a conference win.

Charleyne Panner Bridgewater State

Panner averaged 35.4 assists, 8.4 digs, 1.2 aces and 1.8 kills in a 3-2 week for the Bears which included 36 assists, 10 digs, two kills and an ace in the 3-1 win over Worcester State. At the Johnson and Wales Wildcat Classic, she notched 42 assists, eight digs, two aces, two kills and three blocks (one solo) in a 3-1 win over Rutgers-Newark and 41 assists, five digs and an ace in a 3-2 setback to tournament champion Rhode Island College. Became just the sixth player in program history to reach the 2,000-assist milestone in the match against RIC.
Cassidy Tyros Bridgewater State

Tyros averaged 20.2 digs and 1.2 aces in a 3-2 week for the Bears which included a career-high 25 digs to go along with a kill in the 3-1 win over Worcester State. At the Johnson and Wales Wildcat Classic, she recorded 23 digs and an ace in a 3-1 win over Rutgers-Newark and 24 digs and two aces in a 3-2 setback to tournament champion Rhode Island College.
