Offensive Player of the Week

Garrett Dellechiaie
Fitchburg State
Junior • Quarterback • Leominster, Mass.

Dellechiaie completed 35-of-50 passes for 406 yards and four touchdowns, while adding 44 rushing yards on five carries in the Falcons’ 36-7 win over Massachusetts Maritime. Threw touchdown passes of 55, 25, 18 and 13 yards.

Defensive Player of the Week

Luis Feliz
Fitchburg State
Senior • Linebacker • Clinton, Mass.

Feliz registered 10 tackles, including nine solo as well as a pair of sacks, a forced fumble, fumble recovery and pass break up in the Falcons’ 36-7 win over Massachusetts Maritime.

Special Teams of the Week

Liam Murphy
Fitchburg State
Junior • Kicker • South Hadley, Mass.

Murphy booted a pair of field goals, including a career-high of 40 yards in the Bears’ 34-27 win over Western Connecticut State. Also made a 38-yard field goal as he was a perfect 2-2 for on the day. In addition to the two field goals, he also averaged 61 yards on seven kickoffs with five touchbacks.

Rookie of the Week

Zack Edwards
Plymouth State
Freshman • Quarterback • Brookfield, Mass.

Edwards completed 21-of-28 passes for a season-high 221 yards and one touchdown in the Panthers’ 20-19 overtime win. He threw a 15-yard touchdown pass with 54 seconds left in regulation to force overtime and led the team downfield on the game-winning possession in overtime.
