The Bridgewater State Bears and the Salem State Vikings continued their march to the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championships last weekend with historic victories over Middlebury and Widener, respectively, to advance to the 2009 "Sweet Sixteen."

The wins by Bridgewater State and Salem State mark the first time that the MASCAC has had two teams advance to the Sectional Semi-Finals, and both squads continue their quest for the title on Friday, March 13th with Sweet 16 match-ups against SUNY-Farmingdale and Franklin & Marshall, respectively.
